Jaime Collantes, P.E.



Jaime Collantes lives in North Port, FL. He is a Licensed Civil Engineer with a wealth of experience, knowledge, and consulting experience in civil engineering, forensic engineering, restoration, and construction phase services, catastrophe response to Hurricanes Ian and Idalia as well as numerous hailstorm and flood events.

He started his career in construction in 2001 working for residential, commercial and industrial contractors in SWFL. In 2008, he switched gears to become a project engineer for multinational firms building FDOT multi million dollar jobs. He holds a degree in Civil Engineering and a degree in Environmental Engineering from Florida Gulf Coast University and is a registered Professional Engineer and a General Contractor in the state of Florida.

Jaime’s focus and reliability on forensic engineering inspections, particularly in the areas of wind damage and flooding, and structural investigations, has earned him a reputation for being a meticulous problem solver. His applied experience in the construction industry, along with his ability to convey complicated engineering concepts effectively, makes him an exceptional engineer. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Jaime enjoys spending quality time with his family and indulges in hobbies like cycling and tennis, and traveling as much as work allows.
